Favorite gear for children 5 and under :)
Getting to spend my time with a whole gaggle of boys is a blast. I get to go on grand adventures with my nephews I spend most weekdays with these kiddos working for their families 🙂 so even though I am not a mom 🙂 I have some thoughts on baby and toddler gear.

1. Wheels 🙂 make life with lots of toddlers more fun
My all time favors tool with multiple kids or one is the Bob double stroller! Or the single if you just have one…
These strollers are more than just jogging strollers… they do it all! And I can put all four kids on this stroller and go all over the living desert zoo with ease… the air filled tires are life changing and it can hop curbs, go over rocks and down bumpy roads… I know more families than not who wish they had moved to a bob stroller form the beginning… and I can honestly say it is my favorite.
I see this stroller as the carriage, the snack storage solution, the rest zone, and the chariot of fire. I know I know it’s weird but it’s life changing 🙂 getting out and about on a sick day when two kids are sick with colds and want to just rest is so possible with the double Bob 🙂 you load them up and buckle them with their snacks and all the snuggle blankets.

Or you are biking with early strider bike days and both strider bikes can be carried by the Bob back to the house 🙂 and the kids are back in the stroller maybe sad maybe not but they are safe contained and you get to stride on.
2. Baby wearing

Baby wraps, ergo baby, wrong sling, you name it I love it! 🙂 one season I would watch a new born, 8 month old, 3 year old, and 4 year old… needless to say I needed some hands free. Usually a combination of three of these boys but still… hands free is so fun. And babies, or Neuro divergent toddlers, love to be held and sleep or rest with you. It’s so amazing. I would at times even have two kids strapped on me for periods of time. Watch some you tub videos on transferring easily to crib but honestly life changing… here are some of my favorite ones.

3. Bible flash cards
I love these 🙂 I use them in the car or on breaks while waiting for kids to get out of school! It’s a cool way to touch a verse without it being overwhelming. There are a few A to Z sets on Etsy and they are wonderful!
4. Music that’s predictable and calm
I have a CD player in my car still. And it’s been awesome because I just load up for CDs and the first one on the docket is Scripture lullabies. I know that it’s predictable and very calm… Often if I put it on especially on a longer drive all of the kids will fall asleep because it’s what they’ve fallen asleep too for years.
5. strider bikes
These things are awesome… It helps with balance and keeping a lower center of gravity… Also is great for training kids how to ride a bike… The studies are showing that it’s good to get bikes that are lower to the ground without training wheels so that you don’t have to retrain yourself to Balance.
6. Pickler or climbing equipment
These are so interactive and creative. They’re great for tiny babies to pull themselves up when they’re learning to stand or to walk… It’s a great indoor activity on rainy days similar to a Park feel but it’s much smaller… You could add different pieces like a slide or tunnels… I really liked the arch attachment also but it’s just very versatile and encourages independent creative play.
